What chiropractors miss in Kentucky

Can a chiropractor licensed in another state get a Kentucky license by endorsement?

Kentucky has no separate endorsement license; the board reports reciprocity is no longer offered. A DC licensed elsewhere files the initial application with NBCE Parts I–IV. Graduates of more than four years need a recent SPEC pass unless they prove active practice under a license in good standing.

  • No endorsement route: full application

Which exams does Kentucky require?

Applicants need an NBCE Certificate of Attainment for Parts I, II, III and IV. There is no pre-licensure law exam; new licensees take a two-hour board jurisprudence course before the first renewal.

  • NBCE Parts I–IV
  • No state jurisprudence exam
  • SPEC for some applicants

Does Kentucky regulate chiropractic assistants?

The board reports to FCLB that it does not regulate chiropractic assistants.
