What chiropractors miss in Montana
- The board website lists the jurisprudence exam for endorsement applicants, but ARM 24.126.504(4) exempts endorsement applicants from it. Expect the open-book exam to be included with the application either way.
- Dry needling needs documented hands-on training from an approved source and cannot be delegated, but there is no separate board registration (ARM 24.126.515).
- Exam-route applicants who started chiropractic college after October 1, 1995 need a bachelor's degree; a license in another state exempts the applicant.
Can a chiropractor licensed in another state get a Montana license by endorsement?
A DC with an active license in another state can apply by substantial equivalency under 37-1-304, MCA. The application is routine when the other state requires a board-approved college, NBCE Parts I–IV and a jurisprudence exam; Physiotherapy must be shown separately if that state did not require it. No minimum years of practice appear in the rule.
- Endorsement route available
