What chiropractors miss in South Carolina
- Older references say South Carolina dropped SPEC, but Regulations 25-2, 25-3 and 25-5 still name it for pre-1997 graduates and for licenses expired more than four years.
- Proctoring an NBCE Part IV administration can earn up to 15 CE hours per administration.

Which exams does South Carolina require?
Graduates since January 1, 1997 need NBCE Parts I, II, III and IV; the regulation does not list Physiotherapy. Everyone passes the state Ethics and Jurisprudence Examination at 75 percent. Earlier graduates may use SPEC, Part IV or another state's practical exam, and SPEC applies to licenses expired more than four years.

- State jurisprudence exam
- SPEC for some applicants
How often does a South Carolina chiropractic license renew?
